Questions on your mind?

Aikido is a Japanese martial art created during the 1920s by Morihei Ueshiba. It focuses on blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on, then applying techniques like joint locks and throws. Aikido has no competition. The ultimate goal of Aikido training is not the perfection of a step or skill, but rather the improvement of one's character according to the rules of nature.

At aikiForest, you can start as young as 3.5 years old in our Tot classes. Aikido is suitable for all ages and genders, so as long as you can move, you can do Aikido!

You will pick up breakfall techniques, learn self-defense skills, and heighten your situational awareness. But there is more—expect to improve your physical fitness, sharpen your mental discipline, have plenty of fun, and build lasting friendships along the way!

The duration of all classes is 1 hour. The class schedules for our various outlets can be found on the Programmes page.

Class fees are collected quarterly or every 3 months. If you join midway through the term, the class fee will be pro-rated for that period.

Make-up lessons are available to fit your schedule. You can carry forward up to 4 make-up lessons to the next term.

No prerequisites at all! Just wear comfortable t-shirt and long pants on that day, and you are all set to go. Don't forget to bring your water bottle for hydration!
